Who succeeds at network marketing….

This is what I found out about who succeeds at network marketing. The successful network marketers, “the 3%”, focus on only one product, as the Chinese proverb goes “He who chases two rabbits, catches neither”. The balance (97%) never achieve anything. Very few ever build a down-line totalling 27 people! Statistically, network marketers have 2.7 people in their down-lines! Also, I found that what are referred to as ‘unmets’ or to put it differently ‘monthly product premiums not paid’ can be as high as 60% in some of these MLM companies! What does this tell you? The average ‘joe’ out there either does not like the product, or has no need for it, or could not say NO to the network marketer who introduced them, or, when they signed up they were so caught up in the excitement of the moment ‘knowing’ that they were going to become millionaires overnight and not realizing that they had to go out there and work if they wanted to succeed. And because they were not marketers or salespeople it didn’t happen, they became unhappy, disillusioned and dropped out! Those that succeed at network marketing know that it is all about building relationships, its not about recruit, recruit, recruit, sell, sell, sell! As Zig Ziglar put it “You can have everything in life you want, if you help enough other people get what they want.”

So what are we saying here? Focus on one product! Build relationships!
